All of our work strives to create safe spaces
for people to come together
- and see one another -
so that we may find healing solutions
that will make the weight of trauma less heavy
on ourselves, on each other,
and on our families & communities.
This is often done by what we refer to
as “sitting in the fire” of accountability.
It’s also done through programs
designed to ignite new ways of thinking
for our communities on both sides
of the prison walls.
We choose to shine brightly into
the darkest corners of our systems.
And through “the power of proximity,”
we hope to illuminate paths for
community connection, healing, and service
between people on the inside
and those on the outside
as we work alight justice. together to
alight justice.
