Our Work.
Each of us at ALIGHT began our journey in Transformational Justice on the other side of the prison walls, either as an incarcerated participant/facilitator, a community volunteer, or a systems-impacted member of the community.
After collectively earning a uniquely specialized skillset and hundreds of years of experience, we found ourselves being sought out by both nonprofit and for-profit businesses, as well as public agencies, social justice coalitions, and community members seeking transformation, healing from harm, and opportunities for meaningful engagement & justice impact.

We have now designed programs, trainings, and workshops on the outside for universities & law schools, nonprofits, small businesses & large corporations, social justice collectives, educators, community members, and state court.

We are committed to supporting personal, organizational, and institutional transformation. We do not have a schedule of public trainings, as every program and each training created by ALIGHT is custom designed for the unique needs and goals of the participants. In addition to our in-prison programs, our offerings include:

▲ Custom trainings for facilitators.
▲ Experiential learning opportunities with our in-prison facilitators and incarcerated participants.
▲ Alternatives to incarceration and diversion programs for state court defendants and victims/survivors who are involved in the judicial system.
▲ Good Ally trainings.
▲ Queer/LGBTQ and Gender focused workgroups.
▲ Restorative/Transformative self & group work opportunities for all people who have been impacted by violence and/or the judicial system.
